The Nashville outlet of The Store; the Pennsylvania-based Helping Harvest located in Reading; pediatric services at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center known as MSK Kids; and NYU Langone’s Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital rounded out the list.
While the announcement omitted individual amounts, some recipients shared their figures. City Harvest confirmed receiving $1 million, with chief executive Jilly Stephens calling it a love letter to New York and highlighting that demand at city food pantries stands near historic peaks. The Rhode Island Community Food Bank also collected $1 million, and its chief executive, Melissa Cherney, characterized the gift as a surprise that would replenish the pantries her network serves.
Country music icon Dolly Parton posted an Instagram video the morning of July 2 acknowledging a $2 million contribution to her book distribution initiative. She offered her thanks and jokingly said she wanted dibs on naming rights for their first child, forecasting the baby would be extraordinary.

The wedding-related contributions mirror the couple’s existing charitable track record.
